Staff Writer applicants may bring less then 3 years of editorial and / or marketing experience, even fresh new individuals braking in the industry are welcome, along with:
Experience with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal, or what works for you that gets the job done.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Impeccable grammar, and eye for consistent editorial style. Factual accuracy, and voice
A basic understanding of SEO and web content best practices (strongly preferred)
The ability to create and edit content for clarity, syntax and semantics Ideal candidates will be self-starters who can work independently or in a team atmosphere and who are excited by the opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup environment
The ability to quickly understand business goals and create copy to help achieve them
We are located in Michigan, and expect to have team members around the surrounding area. We plan to work remotely, or in the office due to the Covid 19 on appointed days. You can even do a in-off / remote split schedule.
It is important to note that, Run Nationals is seeking its own building and will not be in a shared space continually. Be on the look our for our new building site my knights.

Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs and financial needs of the organization.
Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization.
Submit proposals to grant coordinators for approval.
Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals.
Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders.
Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.
